News broke on Thursday night that former Lake Dallas standout and current Missouri senior James Franklin will be starting for the Tigers in 2013.
In 2012, Franklin completed 59.4 percent of his passes, threw for 1,562 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Franklin battled through injuries last season and was knocked out of two games he started.
ESPN’s Brett McMurphy said on Twitter last night that Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel confirmed his decision about two weeks before the season starts on Aug. 31 against Murray State.
