At 4 p.m. on Friday, one of the most anticipated games of the Fox Sports Southwest 7-on-7 State Championship tournament will take place in College Station, which will make it the only cool thing about College Station. All kidding, or seriousness, aside, Guyer will face Cedar Hill in what is being billed as a matchup of big-time quarterbacks in the Class of 2011. Guyer, of course, has J.W. Walsh, who already has offers from Kansas and Arizona and was a star at Texas', Oklahoma's and Oklahoma State's camps over the summer. He's ranked 26th in the Texas Lone Star Recruiting Top 100 players. Cedar Hill has Driphus Jackson, who's ranked 57th in the Lone Star Recruiting Top 100. E-mail entry: |
