Our boy Curtis Petersen made his first start Thursday night, but didn't get the results he was looking for. The DR-C's All-Area MVP went 3.1 innings, giving up four runs, three hits and five walks. He took the loss and judging by the walks, struggled with his location against the GCL Cardinals. I'm sure Aubrey's finest is bummed about the game, but chin up, Curt. Making the Majors is a marathon, not a sprint. Just ask Austin Jackson, who didn't get off to great start in the minors but is on the fast track to the majors now. And it could be worse. You could be facing felony charges for striking a fan with a ball during a brawl. Just kidding, Curt. |
