Argyle senior Cole Hedlund racked up another accolade following a historic season.

The Arkansas pledge was a first-team nod for USA Today’s All-USA team after he knocked down 24 field goals this season, one shy of his national record he set in 2011 for most field goals made in a season.

In three years as Argyle’s kicker, Hedlund shattered the national record for most career field goals made. He finished his career with 56 field goals.

Allen junior quarterback Kyler Murray also made the All-USA first-team, joining Hedlund and a slew of the nation’s top high school prospects.
