It could be a pretty amazing 24 hours for Argyle junior running back Nick Ralston.

The night before Argyle faces Fairfield for the Class 3A Division II state title, Ralston said on Twitter that he was offered a collegiate scholarship by Arizona State (I’d embed the tweet, but our blog hates me at the moment.)

Ralston has rushed for 806 yards and 12 touchdowns in the playoffs, and 1,730 yards and 31 touchdowns on the season. In a playoff win against Melissa, Ralston rushed for 365 yards and five touchdowns.

I’d have more from him, but I don’t want to bother him the night before the state title game and incur the wrath of Argyle head coach Todd Rodgers.
