We’re three weeks into the season, and after Guyer started the season ranked No.1 in Class 4A, the Wildcats are making their way back into the rankings after opening the season with losses against top-notch 5A teams, Cedar Hill and Colleyville Heritage.
Guyer recovered with a 27-14 win over Flower Mound Marcus last Friday for the Wildcats’ first win of the season.
In this week’s Associated Press rankings, Guyer was voted No.13, while Lake Dallas came in at No.18. In Class 3A, Argyle moves up to No.14 with its convincing 41-8 win over Paris last week.
Wichita Falls Rider is ranked No.9 in Class 4A, while Coppell, one of Ryan’s District 5-5A opponents, is at No.10.
