Ryan to finish game today; Lake Dallas-Denton postponed to Thursday

Alright, so after all of last night’s rain has finally left, Ryan and The Colony will finish their baseball game today at 4 p.m. at Ryan. The game was suspended yesterday because of rain.

The game is currently tied at 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning, with The Colony’s Sam Warrum batting with a one ball and two strike count. The Cougars have a runner on third base with no outs.

The Colony tied the game in the top of the sixth when Parker Jones doubled down the left field line to tie the game at 2.

Travis Wiley started the game for Ryan, while Chris Krasovec started for The Colony. I highly doubt that either pitcher will be back on the mound when the game starts.

It started raining in the bottom of the fifth, and it picked up drastically in the top of the sixth, forcing the umpires to suspend the game. Ryan needs to find a way to maneuver through the middle of The Colony’s lineup to keep another run from hitting the board.

Denton and Lake Dallas moved to Thursday

Denton and Lake Dallas’ baseball game has been pushed back to Thursday at 7:30 p.m. There’s a very good chance the game gets moved from Lake Dallas to Denton. Both teams were supposed to play Tuesday night but the rain got in the way.

Denton and Ryan are scheduled to play on Friday night at Denton.
